Body found Person rescued dead from the Aare at the Bern Bear Park

On Sunday afternoon, a lifeless person was reported to the Bern cantonal police in the River Aare. The person was subsequently rescued from the water by emergency services together with third parties, as reported by the Bern cantonal police and the public prosecutor's office on Monday.

The report was made at 1.30 pm. Only the death of the person could be determined on site at the bear park in Bern. The identity of the deceased person has not yet been clarified at this time, it said. The Bern cantonal police and the public prosecutor's office have launched an investigation.
