The Basel cantonal police arrested two suspects in Lausen BL early Thursday morning. They had sneaked into a detached house and then tried to open parked cars, according to the police.
They were noticed by a local resident. He informed the police at 02.00 am. After a short manhunt, a patrol arrested two Algerians aged 24 and 35. They discovered that the two had recently broken into an unlocked house and stolen various items, according to the press release.
