Early on Wednesday morning, a barn caught fire in a residential area in Endingen AG. The residents of the adjoining detached house, which also caught fire, were able to get to safety in time. No one was injured.

Residents noticed the fire at 3.30 a.m. and alerted the fire department. When the emergency services arrived, large flames were already blazing from the extension, according to the Aargau cantonal police.

Thanks to the rapid intervention of the fire department, only the roof of the detached house was damaged. However, the shed was almost completely burnt out. The residents were unharmed.
