The retirement home will be managed by Regionales Wohn- und Pflegezentrum Schüpfheim AG, which is owned by the three municipalities of Schüpfheim, Flühli and Hasle. Schüpfheim is the main shareholder with a 60 percent stake.

The new building will be 65 percent financed by borrowed funds. To secure the borrowed capital, the three municipalities are providing a guarantee of CHF 39.5 million.

Schüpfheim's share of the guarantee amounts to CHF 23.7 million. The municipality is also providing a shareholder loan of CHF 4.7 million. The total commitment therefore amounts to CHF 28.4 million.
