There was a violent altercation between the presumably intoxicated visitor and a security guard at the party. The 22-year-old did not accept being removed from the premises, as the cantonal police reported on Sunday.
When the private security service escorted him out, the man caused one of the employees to fall. The 31-year-old German suffered serious head injuries. An ambulance took him to hospital.
The police arrested the alleged perpetrator at his home in the canton of Thurgau on the orders of the public prosecutor's office. He had to undergo a blood and urine test. The cantonal police and the public prosecutor's office are investigating the exact course of events.
