Power outage Seven municipalities in the district of Rheinfelden AG without electricity during the night

A fault in a substation in Rheinfelden AG led to a power outage in seven Fricktal municipalities on Thursday night. In addition to Rheinfelden, Möhlin, Wallbach, Zeiningen, Arisdorf, Magden and Olsberg were also affected, according to AEW Energie AG.

The cause of the protective tripping in the substation, which caused the power supply to fail from 10.53 p.m. on Wednesday evening, is still being clarified, it said. All customers were able to be supplied normally again from 00:15.
