Boat accident Ship and motorboat collide on Lake Lucerne

A motorboat and the motor vessel Bürgenstock collided on Lake Lucerne on Sunday. The occupants of the boat were uninjured, as reported by the Lucerne police on Monday.

Despite several warning signals with the ship's horn, the skipper of the boat failed to avoid the motorboat, which had the right of way, the police wrote in a statement.

The two people on the boat were uninjured and were rescued, the police said.
