Two boats collided in Lake Lucerne off Weggis LU late on Tuesday evening. One person was slightly injured.

According to Lucerne police on Wednesday, the collision happened at 10:30 pm. A motorboat and a sailing boat with three narrow hulls, a so-called trimaran, were involved.

According to the police, the motorboat left the scene of the accident. It continued on towards Lucerne.

There were six people on the trimaran. They were rescued by the water police, the police said. One person was slightly injured.

The damaged trimaran was towed away.
