The two bus stops on Steinhofstrasse in the city of Lucerne are being converted for disabled access. The road between Sälihalde and Obergütschstrasse will have to be temporarily closed for this purpose.

A new surface will also be installed, as the city of Lucerne announced on Friday. This has to harden for a week, which is why the road cannot be used. The construction work will start on July 22 and last until the morning of July 29.

Motorized private transport will be diverted during this time, and there will be an alternative timetable for bus route 10. Two separate lines will run from Lucerne railroad station to Steinhofstrasse and the Obergütsch district. The road will remain passable for pedestrians and cyclists.
