A vehicle owner reported to the police on Monday evening that she had noticed traces of blood and damage to her car in a parking space behind her vehicle. This was reported by the Thurgau cantonal police on Tuesday. A short time later, a relative of the 15-year-old contacted the police and said that the teenager had been injured in an accident.

At this point, the 15-year-old had already sought medical attention on his own, as a spokesperson for the Thurgau cantonal police told the Keystone-SDA news agency. From there, he was then taken to hospital. It is still unclear why the 15-year-old's e-bike collided with the car.
