Grand Council BE The decisions of the Bernese Grand Council

On Wednesday, the Bernese Grand Council elected

- Michèle Marti (GLP) as a member of the Administrative Court for the term of office until 31.12.2028 with 153 votes. Marti succeeds Bettina Arn De Rosa.

- The Council adopted a counter-proposal to the solar initiative by 107 votes to 26 with 20 abstentions. The Council recommended rejection of the solar initiative by 79 votes to 73. The initiators do not wish to withdraw their proposal, meaning that the people will have the final say next year.

- The Council has now begun to discuss the new BLS Act in its first reading.
