Following a traffic accident involving a camper van and a car in Li Curt near Poschiavo, the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) line there was interrupted for almost an hour on Saturday. After the accident, the camper van landed on a retaining wall next to the railroad tracks. According to the police, all those involved in the accident suffered minor injuries.
The 25-year-old driver of the car was traveling on the Bernina road from S. Carlo in the direction of Brusio. On a bend in the Milimort area, the vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane. There it collided with the oncoming motorhome, according to the Graubünden cantonal police.
One of the drivers tested positive for alcohol in a breath test. The man's driving license was temporarily confiscated.
