Road accident Truck driver injured in accident in Bergün GR

A 43-year-old truck driver left the road in Bergün GR on Friday afternoon and suffered minor injuries. His vehicle hit an embankment and tipped onto its side, as reported by the Graubünden cantonal police on Saturday.

At around 11.25 a.m., the truck was driving straight ahead in a left-hand bend on the way to Filisur GR and hit a retaining wall on the uphill side. The truck then tipped to one side on the subsequent embankment, the police reported.

The driver was then able to get out on his own and was taken to hospital by ambulance.
