A lorry driver failed to see a motorcyclist while reversing in Unterschächen UR on Tuesday afternoon and collided with him. The motorcyclist was seriously injured and had to be taken to hospital.

The two vehicles were traveling on Klausenstrasse, as reported by the Uri cantonal police on Wednesday. In the Hirmi area, the truck driver stopped for traffic reasons and then reversed. In doing so, he overlooked the motorcyclist, who then fell over.
