Bern Two seriously injured after traffic accident in Oberwil BE
A motorcyclist and his companion were seriously injured on Sunday afternoon in Oberwil im Simmental after their motorcycle collided with a car.

According to the latest information, the motorcycle was traveling from Zweisimmen towards Spiez on Sunday afternoon when, for reasons still to be clarified, it collided with a car traveling in the same direction, the Bern cantonal police reported on Sunday. The motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured.
One person was taken to hospital by ambulance, the other was flown by Rega. The driver of the car was not injured in the accident.
As a result of the accident, the road between Boltigen and Oberwil had to be completely closed for three hours. The Bern cantonal police have launched an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
