Labor market Unemployment rate in the canton of Aargau rises slightly

The unemployment rate in the canton of Aargau rose slightly in June, from 2.5 to 2.6 percent. At the end of the month, 138 more people were registered as unemployed than in the previous month. In total, there were 9770 people, as the canton announced on Thursday.

The national unemployment rate at the end of June was 2.3 percent, slightly lower than in Aargau. Compared to the same period last year, the unemployment rate in Aargau increased by 0.5 percentage points.
