A car caught fire in the underpass in front of the Ligerz tunnel in Twann on Monday afternoon. According to the police, the driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

The Bern cantonal police confirmed a corresponding report by the Alertswiss warning service to the Keystone-SDA news agency on Monday afternoon. The fire was extinguished and traffic was diverted. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
