The Zug PUK does not yet have a complete overview of the files. The commission informed the media of this on Wednesday when it appeared before the media for the first time.

Central documents are being withheld by the Directorate of Home Affairs, according to a statement from the Parliamentary Investigation Commission (PUK). However, it would "probably receive the files soon". Until then, no information on the timetable is possible.

PUK President Barbara Gysel (SP) told the media that the commission wanted to create "transparency about the procedure" and not anticipate results. The work is currently in the analysis phase.

The PUK was set up by the Cantonal Council in July 2025. It is investigating the conduct of the administration in connection with a controversial sale of land on Lake Aegeri in 2017. The State Economic Commission (Stawiko) received two supervisory complaints in 2024. The PUK is to clarify the role of the government and individual members.
