In the Canton of Zug, particularly talented high school students can attend lectures at the University of Zurich even before their A-levels. The University and the Canton of Zug have concluded an agreement to this effect.

This cooperation enables talented pupils from the canton's grammar schools to attend selected modules at the University of Zurich, the Zug Directorate of Education and Culture announced on Friday. This would allow them to gain their first experience of studying at a university.

The high school students can take one module per semester at the university. According to the press release, only pupils with above-average talent, academic interest and high performance are eligible.
