The Tampa Bay Lightning with Janis Moser are celebrating a small anniversary in the NHL. The team from Florida recorded its tenth win in a row with a 5:1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Ten games won in a row - the Lightning achieved what the Buffalo Sabres and Colorado Avalanche have already done this season. The team from Denver, the clear number 1 in the league in terms of points so far this season, has even managed this twice.

The Lightning faced the Flyers for the third time in this championship - and won for the third time with a clear result. The second duel two days ago, which also took place in Philadelphia, was won 7:2 by Moser and Co.

Nikita Kutscherow has played a big part in the current upswing. The Russian was once again both scorer and provider, scoring at least twice for the ninth game in a row. The 32-year-old forward, who has been with the Lightning for twelve years, has collected no fewer than 24 points during this period. Defenseman Moser was on the ice for 23 minutes in the latest win and finished with a plus-2 rating.

New Jersey also finally got another win with Swiss players Nico Hischier, Timo Meier and Jonas Siegenthaler. With a 5-2 win over the Minnesota Wild, the Devils put an end to a four-game losing streak. Hischier assisted on the 1-0 goal by Canadian Dawson Mercer after ten minutes and, together with Siegenthaler, on the 2-1 goal by Ondrej Palat shortly before the end of the second period. Like the Swede Jesper Bratt, the Czech scored twice.

The Los Angeles Kings with Kevin Fiala had to concede defeat to an opponent who had been mostly disappointing of late. The team from California lost 3-1 at home to Dallas. It was the second win in the last nine games for the Stars, who are still without injured defenceman Lian Bichsel.
