Due to an IT breakdown at Skyguide air traffic control, no planes were able to take off from 3.00 to 4.30 pm. The number of aircraft landing was reduced by half during these 90 minutes.
Skyguide announced on Friday that the IT breakdown had been fully rectified. Investigations into the causes are ongoing, but a hacker attack can be ruled out.
