France Three women injured with stabbing weapon in Paris metro
A man is said to have injured three women in the Paris metro with a stabbing weapon. The suspect initially fled and was finally arrested in the greater Paris area, the Paris police prefect confirmed in a post on the X platform. According to him, the women were slightly injured and treated by emergency services.

According to media reports, the attacks took place at central stations on metro line 3 in the French capital, including the Paris Opera station.
The suspect was located thanks to surveillance camera footage and the location of his cell phone, French media reported, citing the public prosecutor's office.
In a post on X, French Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez congratulated the investigators, who were able to arrest the suspect "thanks in particular to the network of surveillance cameras and their exceptional knowledge of the area".
