Did Sean "Diddy" Combs set fire to rap star Kid Cudi's Porsche? The sex trafficking trial against the music mogul revolved around this question during Cudi's testimony in New York, according to US media reports. According to the testimony, the musician's Porsche was damaged by a Molotov cocktail in 2012 - an attack that is said to be connected to a personal dispute with Combs. At the time, Cudi was briefly the partner of Combs' ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Cudi, whose real name is Scott Mescudi, explained that he had received a call from his dog sitter in January 2012 telling him that his car was on fire in the driveway. According to his testimony, an incendiary device was apparently thrown inside through the roof of the vehicle, Cudi said on the stand. Combs was also present for the testimony.
How violent?
Combs is accused of sex trafficking, organized crime and other offenses. He denies all charges and pleaded not guilty. If convicted, he faces a life sentence. Over the past few days, the trial has mainly revolved around orgies allegedly organized or demanded by Combs, during which his girlfriend Ventura was supposed to have sex with strange men.
Kid Cudi's testimony is considered important to substantiate the prosecution's allegations about Combs' willingness to use violence and his need to control Ventura. The rapper also testified that Combs broke into his house after his relationship with the singer became public and threatened to blow up his car. A short time later, Cudi's blue sports car was actually on fire.
