After Mexico, US President Donald Trump has now also granted neighboring Canada a postponement of the tariffs he has threatened. The punitive tariffs, which were due to come into force at midnight (local time), will be suspended for a month, wrote Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on X. In return, the country agreed to make concessions on border security.
