Storm Trump and First Lady come to the flash flood area in Texas

US President Donald Trump is traveling to the disaster area one week after the start of the flash floods in Texas. His wife and First Lady Melania will be joining him this Friday, as announced by the White House.

The two are expected to arrive in Kerrville at noon. The surrounding area of Kerr County has been particularly hard hit by the severe flooding.

According to consistent US media reports, at least 119 people died in the flash flood disaster in Texas. In Kerr County alone, the deaths of 95 people were reported, including 36 children, said the sheriff of the area, Larry Leitha, on Thursday. More than 160 people are also still missing in the region.
