Latest news Two dead and one injured by gunfire in Paris suburb

Two people were shot dead in a Paris suburb on Friday evening. Another person was seriously injured, as the AFP news agency learned from police sources.

All three people were known to the authorities for drug dealing.

The shooting occurred at around 10 p.m. in the town of Bobigny near the French capital. According to police sources, officers were called because of "detonations". Two young adults were killed and another person was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The perpetrators reportedly fled the scene.
