Two men have died in a plane crash in Norway. According to police reports, the small plane crashed onto the E6 European route in the municipality of Oppdal near a private airfield, after which a fire broke out. One of the two occupants died at the scene of the accident, the other in an ambulance on the way to hospital. According to the incident commander, Ole Stig Bjørhovde, both lived in Oppdal.
According to the police, it is still too early to say anything about the cause of the accident. Apart from the two men, there were no other people on board the plane. Oppdal is located about 350 kilometers north of Oslo.
