According to its own statements, the Ukrainian military has destroyed military drone facilities in Russia. Satellite images had confirmed the destruction of storage facilities, training buildings and control points for drones in the Krasnodar region, the Ukrainian navy announced on its telegram channel on Sunday. The corresponding images to prove this were also published there.

According to this, it was a Ukrainian drone attack on Friday night, launched by the military together with the SBU intelligence service. At the time, the Russian Ministry of Defense had reported the repulsion of a large-scale drone attack on areas in southern Russia. However, the governor of Krasnodar, Vanyamin Kondratyev, later confirmed several strikes. Civilian objects such as a boiler plant and an oil refinery were hit by the debris from drones that had been shot down.
According to information from Kiev, drone combat instructors and their cadets were also killed in the attack. This information cannot be verified independently.
Drones are among the most important weapons in the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, which has been going on for more than two years. Moscow and Kiev have been attacking each other with drone and missile strikes. However, the damage and the number of victims on Russian soil are disproportionate to the far greater destruction caused by the Russian attacks.
