Unknown perpetrators robbed a hotel in Verbier VS on Wednesday night. They tied up the night watchman and stole a safe before fleeing.

Shortly after 3 a.m., the night watchman of a hotel in Verbier surprised unknown persons who were "rummaging around" at the reception, as the Valais cantonal police reported on Wednesday. They attacked him, tied him up and stole a safe. The robbers then fled the scene.

The victim managed to free himself and raise the alarm. The search for the perpetrators and the investigation were still ongoing on Wednesday afternoon.
