A woman is said to have entered an animal enclosure in France while jogging for an as yet unexplained reason. Several wolves attacked her and she was seriously injured.

A woman has been attacked and seriously injured by several wolves in the well-known Thoiry safari park in the west of Paris. According to the French media, the incident took place on Sunday morning. As reported by the daily newspaper "Le Parisien ", among others, the woman is said to have entered the animal enclosure of the safari zone while jogging for an as yet unexplained reason. Only motorists are allowed there, pedestrians are prohibited in the enclosure.

Keepers rescued woman

The safari park in Thoiry, around 50 kilometers from the French capital, is one of the oldest in France. It covers 150 hectares and has around 1500 animals and around 100 species. The victim lived in a lodge in the park. As the television station "BFMTV" reported, citing the zoo, the woman's life was not in danger. The keepers quickly came to her aid.
