Violent crime Woman seriously injured by man - suspected perpetrator is dead

A man seriously injured a 41-year-old woman in Gerlafingen SO on Monday. A rescue helicopter flew the woman to hospital in a critical condition. According to the police, the suspected perpetrator was found dead at the scene.

According to the Solothurn cantonal police, it was a suicide. The woman is a Serbian woman and the alleged perpetrator is a 51-year-old Kosovan. The police received the report of a violent crime in a property shortly after 06:35.
