Stowaways, well hidden: two young foxes nestled in a car engine in Winterthur.

Two young foxes have taken up residence in the engine of a car in Winterthur. As stowaways, they drove to the shops with the car owner. They survived the joyride unscathed.
On Wednesday, the woman noticed two young foxes hiding in her engine compartment in the shopping center's parking garage. The two stowaways had presumably got there through the wheel arch, as the city police reported on Friday.
The police, who were called out immediately, decided that it would have been too dangerous to free them in the parking garage. The car owner therefore drove carefully back home to release the foxes there.
While one of the foxes quickly escaped, the second remained behind, still frightened. The police officers therefore left it alone. A short time later, it also left its hiding place on its own.
