The Zurich public prosecutor's office and the Zurich city and cantonal police announced on Monday that well over one billion francs had been laundered via the Bitcoin mixer. The operators are likely to have made a profit of several million.
As part of an extensive investigation, the authorities located the server infrastructure in the canton of Zurich and shut it down at the end of November 2025, they added. The operation was supported by Europol, among others.
