The Zurich District Court has sentenced three men from Germany for large-scale drug trafficking. The main accused must serve 12 years and 9 months in prison.
On Thursday morning, the court found all three parties guilty of violating the Narcotics Act. The three men sold several kilograms of cocaine and other drugs.
They used darknet marketplaces as well as Telegram and another messenger service. They took payment in cryptocurrencies and sent the drugs by post.
The two co-defendants were sentenced to prison terms of 45 and 40 months respectively. All three will also be expelled from the country after serving their sentences.
