The High Court thus confirmed the conviction handed down by the Uster District Court in July 2024, according to the written judgment obtained by the Keystone-SDA news agency. However, the sentence imposed is lower. Instead of a prison sentence of 11 years, the 31-year-old will now only receive 8 years.

The hearing before the High Court took place on February 27. The judgment of the High Court is not yet legally binding. It can be appealed to the Federal Supreme Court.
