The four accused allegedly smuggled drugs and other contraband into the Pöschwies correctional facility in Regensdorf ZH over a long period of time, as the public prosecutor's office announced on Monday. They then allegedly sold the goods on to inmates there.
The gang mainly smuggled marijuana, hashish and cocaine. The public prosecutor's office is accusing them of crimes against the Narcotics Act and bribery. They are requesting prison sentences of 14 to 36 months. It is not yet clear when the trial will take place at Dielsdorf district court.
