Chryssanthi Kavazi, known from 'GZSZ', is currently devoting herself to a special project: building her own house just outside Berlin. The actress, who is also a skilled industrial mechanic, sees building a house as an exciting challenge. "It's a bigger task than planning a wedding or raising two children," she tells 'Bunte'. But she remains confident: "We will master it. The good thing is that we always agree and have the same taste."

Her technical skills stand her in good stead. "I can read technical drawings quickly and generally have good manual skills," explains Kavazi. Where others might despair, she finds joy: "Building a house is therefore the perfect playground for me."

Baby break and return to 'GZSZ'

In addition to building houses, Kavazi is also known for her role as Laura on 'GZSZ'. However, she is currently on maternity leave. After her son was born in 2019, she returned to the set after six months. This time, she plans to take more time for her family. "I miss my 'GZSZ' life very much - both the role of Laura and my colleagues and the entire team on set," she confesses to RTL. But her children have priority. "This time, however, I want to spend a little more time with my family before I'm back in the summer of 2025 to cause another stir in Berlin's 'GZSZ' neighborhood," she explains, preparing her fans for a longer wait.
