Langley was nominated for Artist of the Year and in several categories for "You look like you love me", her joint song with country singer Riley Green (36).

Cody Johnson, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson each have seven nominations, followed by Chris Stapleton with six and Riley Green and Post Malone with five each.

Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, Jelly Roll, Chris Stapleton, Morgan Wallen and Lainey Wilson are in the running for the top prize as "Entertainer of the Year".

Reba McEntire as host

The US Academy of Country Music awards will be presented at a gala on May 8 in Frisco, Texas - this year for the 60th time. Last year, Lainey Wilson received the top prize as "Entertainer of the Year". It was her first win in this category.

Country legend Reba McEntire is to take to the stage as host. Numerous stars from the country and pop scene, including Lainey Wilson, Blake Shelton and Eric Church, have been announced as performers.
