Summary created withmyAi

"Le Freak","Like A Virgin". "Let's Dance" or "Get Lucky". Nile Rodgers is responsible for all of these hit songs.

The guitarist and music producer was only 25 years old when he became immortal. In 1977, "Le Freak" was the first of many hits by his pioneering group Chic.

Chic later became the house band of the legendary New York disco Studio 54 and continued to deliver cool new sounds for the dancefloor.

When the disco wave slowly died down in the 1980s, Rogers became one of the most sought-after producers. He was involved in Madonna's "Like A Virgin" as well as David Bowie's comeback album "Let's Dance".

It is therefore not surprising that the US industry magazine "Billboard" once nicknamed him "The Hitmaker" because so much of what he touches turns to gold.
