The Dietiker comes across as reflective and at peace with himself. But that wasn't always the case: "My first album is called 'Ich gäge mich' and it really was a me-against-me," says the 34-year-old. Working on the album was a form of therapy for him. He believes that many people around him are struggling with trauma.

He wants to be a role model for his three boys and convey the feeling that their daddy is doing something good. "I hope it motivates them to give it their all and shows them that they can achieve anything," says Xen.
