Luge athlete Natalie Maag ends the World Cup season with another podium finish.

Four weeks after finishing 3rd in Oberhof, the 27-year-old from the Zurich Oberland region came second on the 2022 Olympic track in Yanqing, beaten only by the German overall World Cup winner Julia Taubitz. Maag, who finished on the podium at the highest level for the fourth time, missed out on her first World Cup victory by 0.433 seconds.
The Swiss athlete, who won World Championship silver in the jumping event last year, finished in 5th place in the overall standings after nine races, her highest ever finish.
