Nikola Jokic leads the Denver Nuggets to victory against Phoenix. The Serbian makes history once again.
Nikola Jokic went down in NBA history on Friday. The Serbian center from Denver became the first player to record more than 30 points, 20 rebounds and 20 assists in a game.
Jokic scored 31 points, 21 rebounds and 22 assists in a game that the Nuggets won 149-141 in overtime against the Phoenix Suns. Those 22 assists are a personal record for the three-time NBA MVP and an all-time record for a center.
It is the seventh time this season that Nikola Jokic has scored more than 15 points, 15 rebounds and 15 assists in a game. Since the start of the 2024/25 season, he has recorded 29 triple-doubles and a total of 149 in the regular season since his NBA debut.
