Davos is the first team to qualify for the playoffs in the National League. The leaders beat Zug 4:1 at home and can no longer be ousted from the top 6.

The HCD laid the foundations for victory against Zug with a lightning start. After 37 seconds they were 1:0 ahead, in the 6th minute it was 2:0. While the Grisons celebrated their 19th win in their 21st home game of the season, the EVZ suffered their first defeat in their third game under new coach Benoît Groulx.

Davos are now ten points ahead of their closest rivals, as Fribourg only won at home against Ambri-Piotta in overtime (4-3). It was Gottéron's seventh win in a row.

Lugano is now third, having beaten the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers 7-3 at home. The Bianconeri overtook Genève-Servette, who are without a game, by one point. ZSC now have the same number of points as Geneva. The Lions won 4:2 in Kloten and also won the fourth Zurich derby of the season.

Bern (9th) celebrated an important victory in the battle for the play-in spots. SCB won the derby at the SCL Tigers (10th) 4:3 after overtime and are now level on points with the Emmental side. It won its seventh away game in a row. Three points behind Bern and Langnau is Biel, who defeated bottom-placed Ajoie 6-3 in front of their home crowd.
