The Swiss cross-country skiers can hope for a podium finish at the start of the World Cup races in Davos. In the team sprint, three of the four Swiss duos qualified for the final.
The first men's pair in particular made a strong impression in the prologue. Valerio Grond and Janik Riebli finished 4th and 5th respectively. Nadine Fähndrich, who is competing with Anja Weber, also impressed in fourth place after recovering from a cold.
The second Swiss teams, Noe Näff and Antonin Savary as well as Lea Fischer and Marina Kälin, also made it into the top 15 teams.
The two finals start at 18:00 and 18:35 respectively and each run over six laps (alternating three per runner).
