Nick Alpiger from Aargau wins the Baselstädtischer Schwingertag for the third time and thus his twelfth wreath festival.

Nick Alpiger was in a class of his own on Ascension Day in Basel. The 30-year-old from Seon moved confidently into the final round with five victories. There, the three-time Swiss champion crushed Marius Frank from Solothurn on the ground after three and a half minutes in front of 3,875 spectators.
Alpiger completed a dozen wreaths with this victory. He had already triumphed in Basel in 2017 and 2019.
