Ambri-Piotta is strengthening its roster with Canadian forward Chris Tierney, the club has announced.

The 30-year-old forward has the experience of 689 NHL games. Most recently, he played in the KHL with Dinamo Minsk, where he scored twelve goals and 16 assists in 71 games.
Tierney signed a one-year contract with the Leventines with an option for an additional season. He is Ambri's first foreign addition after the departures of Janne Juvonen, Kodie Curran, Dominik Kubalik and Philippe Maillet.
