Andri Ragettli fails to take his second chance for a podium place at the home World Championships after finishing fourth in the slopestyle. The ski freestyler fails to make the jumps in the big air final in St. Moritz.

The 26-year-old from Graubünden was also a victim of the conditions. The slushy snow made the task more difficult. The very difficult jump in the first round was almost completed before a dent in the outrun caused the acrobat to fall.

In the meantime, several of his competitors had produced top-class flights - six of them with over 91 (!) points. As a result, Ragettli did not have to stand for two jumps (two out of three flights are scored), but had to advance to the very highest points regions twice. The athlete, who made his name a global brand on social media, crashed almost identically on his second attempt. Ragettli derailed after landing in reverse and tipped onto his side after all.

New Zealander Luca Harrington spun to victory, performing three somersaults with five and a half screws, among other things. The standard was extremely high, with some new tricks being performed. Harrington achieved an incredible 96.75 and 95.25 points.
