Nadine Fähndrich makes it onto the podium for the sixth time this season in an individual race in the skating ski sprint in Lahti in third place.
She was only beaten by Germany's Coletta Rydzek and Norway's Kristine Skistad.
On Wednesday, Nadine Fähndrich celebrated her sixth individual World Cup victory in a commanding manner at the City Sprint in Tallinn. However, the course in Lahti is less suited to her, which is why she has never stood on the podium there before. Now she has filled this gap.
After Fähndrich qualified for the final in the semi-final in fourth place, she was at the back of the field for a long time. Shortly before the home straight, she was in 5th place before overtaking Mathilde Myhrvold from Norway and Johanna Hagström from Sweden. The 3rd place was enough to finish second in the discipline classification. For Coletta Rydzek, it was the first World Cup victory of her career.
