This solid performance was enough for 5th place in a field in which only the Olympic silver medallist Katie Moon from the USA was missing.

Despite the cool conditions, the standard in Brussels was high. Four women jumped over 4.80 m. Angelica Moser has only managed this height in two competitions: in Monaco with the double Swiss record (4.83, 4.88) and in the Olympic final in fourth place (4.80). The European champion from Andelfingen can be more than satisfied with 2024. This year, she managed eight of her best ten jumps.

The victory went to Olympic champion Nina Kennedy from Australia. She was the only athlete to fly over 4.88 m. Second place went to American Sandi Morris, who had failed at the US Trials 2024.
