One day after winning the title in the mixed competition, Swiss markswoman Audrey Gogniat secured another medal at the 10 m European Championships in Osijek.
The 22-year-old from Jura won silver in the singles behind Romania's Laura-Georgeta Ilie. The 2024 Olympic bronze medal winner in Paris was 1.4 points short of gold.
It was closer in the qualification. Gogniat only managed to advance to the final of the top eight by a margin of three tenths. Muriel Züger (28th) and Chiara Leone (36th) clearly missed out on a place in the final. In the team ranking, the Swiss trio finished 4th behind Norway, Hungary and Romania.
In the men's event, Lochbihler (52nd), Fabio Wyrsch (57th) and Christoph Dürr (66th) also missed out by a wide margin.
